Perfect 06:35
In our lifetime We won’t ever see the whole milky way We won’t ever touch a mammoth’s skin We won’t ever walk on Mars and stay We won’t ever stare at a photon’s spin Because there’s no such thing as perfect So many clues but we still reject - we don’t mean a thing In our lifetime We won’t ever laugh with Jesus We won’t ever chat with Moses We won’t ever choose the best among us We won’t ever stop our species expenses Because there’s no such thing as perfect So many clues we still object - we don’t mean a thing In our lifetime We won’t ever meet every human being We won’t ever greet at our great-great-grandson’s wedding We won’t ever stop the rain falling We won’t ever get our universal brain working Because there’s no such thing as perfect So many clues we simply reject - we don’t mean a thing We feel like we need to find the good messiah We feel like he will guide us and cleanse there’s pariah But I suspect he doesn’t exist Anyhow we slide on with the fist Because there’s no such thing as perfect So many clues we simply reject - we don’t mean a thing

Born Kind 04:26
So much time To neutralise To cauterise Like it’s all ok So much rage To contain To refrain Leaving yesterday So much soul In a bowl To be stowed Out there in the cold So much pain Drilling holes Dripping stones Because we’ve been told We hear it’s easier We’re sure it’s catchier And really cleverer to point out who’s to blame But I feel grateful And I feel faithful So I keep claiming we’re all born the same We’re all born kind So much talk To exist To resist So we don’t fade away So many lies To sympathise Just start legalising What we don’t understand We hear it’s easier We’re sure it’s catchier And really cleverer to point out who’s to blame But I feel grateful And I feel faithful So I keep claiming we’re all born the same We’re all born kind We’re all born kind We’re all born kind We’re all born kind We’re all born kind We’re all born kind

Isolation 05:34
How many days now How many hours How many moments without anyone around I don’t count the days now I don’t count the hours I don’t count the moments with you all around ‘Cause you are my angel You are my light ‘Cause you are no danger There’s nothing to fight Outside it’s chaos Outside it’s cold Outside they’re all just talking about gold They fear their mirror They fear their pain They turn insane but I’m not afraid anymore ‘Cause you are my angel You are my night ‘Cause you are no danger There’s nothing dark in sight You had me drifting Inside your well You saw me crying When I heard the bell But I will never feel alone into your soul War is approaching Our soldiers are home We find no meaning with this under the dome We cast no shadow We hear no sound We feel so shallow like were living underground But you are my angel You are so bright Yes you are no danger Beware I might You had me drifting Inside your head You saw me crying When I touched the bed But I will never feel alone into your soul You had me living Inside your head You saw me bathing Like a newborn living dead But I will never feel alone into your soul My mind is drifting My heart is fine Don’t need the living Your soul is mine

Once I'm gone I won’t be heard by anyone Once I’m gone I won’t be stung by any thorn Once I’m gone No one will get me anymore Once I’m gone No one will seek me anymore I never meant to push through I never meant to live long by the rule I never meant to trust you You never meant to elevate me through Once I’m gone My songs will disappear for good Once I’m gone My work will fade away like it should When I’m gone They’ll pretend I’ve never ever been When I’m gone They’ll extend their view within They never meant to know me They never meant to hear me screaming fool They never meant to hold me They never meant to teach me I’m so cool I never meant to see it I never meant to feel it like it should

Invisible 06:21
Will you meet me - I’m so alone Will you greet me - To the bone You need to love me I’m so invisible You need to leave me It’s so unbearable I feel like flying - Far from home I think I’m dying - I can’t let go You never love me I’m so invisible You need to leave me It’s so unbearable I just can’t get through Somehow I have to I wish I was like you With you there is no blue You need to love me…
6.
Grime 05:26
Here you are away from everyone Can’t you see the damage you have done Have you found the meaning of our sum Don’t try to clear your conscience, don’t be dumb You need to call it a day Here we are all locked up in our homes Trying to steer our minds within our bones We don’t need to ease up on our time We just heel like any dog with grime We feel like getting away
7.
Lord, I’m your protector Unfold your old dark prayer Call your denied divider And roll on forever You will rise my fame You will state my name Boy, you know I’m a giver And hold on your anger Show me your manners All you need is followers You will rise my name You will state my fame You will hide my past You will paint my last… lie! Lord, I’m your protector Unfold your last dark prayer Mould all my believers Because I’m here forever You will rise my name You will state my fame You will hide my past You will praise my last… lie! I’m your protector…

Rust 07:27
I walked into this bar with no intentions Betting on some unexpected expectations I felt in my place, not out of line Greeting every kind of people, no masterplan Then I stood by the dancefloor, I waited for the encore But nothing came onto me, there must have been some kind of trickery So I walked to the crowd, fishing for some kind of glance from a beauty But I realised I wasn’t part of anything envious nor fancy Someone called me Mister, like I’m so out of place Then we played this teaser: could you look at my face She just had to guess my age and then I did the same The number wasn’t deceiving for me But it seemed to be so for this young lady When I look in the mirror, my flaws are quite minor But then I stare at my face, there is whiteness in place We feel there’s no tomorrow, we cast for no sorrow But it seems I’m so average, I appear above my age They say “time flies like a ever-lasting speeding train” I thought they got bored and lost words to explain But now my narrative is common, I really thought I was so stubborn I’m like an ant who thought the world was just to get to the next turn Hilarious as it’d be I feel like I’m set free These thoughts are floating down Above my rusty ground

Holy Train 04:38
Does she need to justify? We intervene and someone will cry All we need is to let it die We just leave and let her try Come on hit me Someone will cry, someone will die Would you dare hurt me? Do you know me I’m taking a round, fooling a clown, but you didn’t even meet me Won’t you touch me And feel I was never meant to be a part of this nursery Come on hold me Fixing a line, hoping to find the true reason for needing to hate me Will you teach me? Feeling the line, getting the sign, as you can clearly see me Another one night stand Is clearly something girls are raised to make amend Another holy train Every boys are raised to ride to cleanse their holy hands Do we need to stop it? Do we understand? Do we need to shut it? Do we hold her hand?

We hate all that we take We break all that we shake We love all that we shove We’ve lost all that we strove for Love… all that we take Love… all that we hate We feel there’s no need to heal We’re thrilled there’s no need to steal No pay, that’s all for the day We must say there’s no need to stay Love… all that we take Love… all that we hate Love… all that we break Love… everything’s great
12.
I Can Wait 03:55
I can wait, I can wait ’til the song is over I can wait, I can wait ’til the song is over now I can wait, I can wait ’til the change is over I can wait, I can wait ’til the change is over now Something’s over But I can’t name it Something's closer But I can’t touch it But I can’t touch it - now I can wait, I can wait ’til the dance is over I can wait, I can wait ’til the dance is over now I can wait, I can wait ’til the taste is over I can wait, I can wait ’til the taste is over now I can wait, I can wait ’til the tease is over I can wait, I can wait ’til the tease is over now Something’s over But I can’t name it Something's closer But I can’t touch it But I can’t touch it - now
13.
Entropy 06:05
Chaos is time Chaos is faded time Dust in a cloud Dust is a deep cloud Feelings are lost Feelings are long lost Stars are all dying Stars are all crying We might not make it We might not escape it We feel like puppets Shadow puppets Leaning alone Leaning, they’re all gone Seeking the alien Seeking a real friend We don’t really die We don’t really outshine We are information With no long-term solution Everything will eventually revolve Making it the joke we can’t absorb Slipping away Slipping are our days Mixing our cells Ringing our fate bells We don’t really die We don’t really outshine We are information We are just a fraction of the sun Everything will eventually revolve Making it the joke we can’t absorb
14.
Safe 10:26
Are we alone? Universe into atom Is there an end? Endless emptiness of sand Our lives already forgotten Sick times are really not the problem We search for the answers Dying before even trying To find the question: How many ancestors? There is no number - We only slumber… Knowing that we won’t know Living what we won’t live Going where we shouldn’t go Grieving when we sure grieve We won’t ever be safe We just need to embrace The insignificance of our existence Like it’s a dumb joke So don’t choke on your folks ‘Cause no one’s gonna get a grinning face Death is all over the place She doesn’t smile She sucks you up Eats you up She has no file About you ‘Cause we are spinning through a black hole Holding on our blue ball Let’s celebrate this bright day Before it all slides away ‘Cause we are spinning through a black hole Holding on our blue ball Let’s celebrate this bright day Before it all slides... slides away

about

This is an album I recorded over the last three years with almost half of it during the 2020 lockdowns.
This is my first double album and, most of all, my first vinyl release!
I spent a lot of time recording, mixing, working on the lyrics, the meaning of it all... With politic ideas... very personal feelings... 2020 will always be a special year. Not just for me, I assuredly know that. But on the top of the world storm we've lived (and stil living to this day), I had been enduring some rough personal events. Especially the passing of my father.
Therefore, I needed to finish this piece of work, my most ambitious one to this day.
I hope you will enjoy it at least as much as I did.
